First leaked accessories for the iPad 10

Will the future iPad 10 look like a small iPad Air? The Japanese site MacOtaraka noticed that prop maker ESR had added cases for a 10th generation iPad to its Amazon store… even though the tablet has yet to be announced. Enough to have a first glimpse of the new entry-level tablet from Cupertino, even if we will obviously take these images with the usual tweezers.

If the renderings are correct, this 10th version will bring a massive redesign with squarer edges bringing it closer to the iPad Air. The home button should disappear to reduce the borders, and the tablet would inherit the ignition button with TouchID from its big sister. Note that the rendering of ESR does not correspond with the one we have seen appearing this summerwhere the tablet retains its home button.

There is an elongated hole for the camera and microphone at the back. There would obviously be no Smart Connector, Cupertino reserving it for its higher-end models. The images show a tablet compatible with the Apple Pencil 2 and including a USB-C port. Rumors would have it that this new cuvée will be presented by the end of the year.

According to rumors, this iPad should have an A14 Bionic chip (inherited from the iPhone 12), a slightly larger screen and a revised camera. It remains to be seen how much the tablet will be sold for: we can expect a good increase given the recent revisions Apple Store prices. The question of storage also arises. Remember that the iPad 9 is only available in 64 GB (389 €) and 256 GB (559 €).
