First lady of São Tomé satisfied with the air connection with Angola via Flay – Jornal OPaís

The First Lady of São Tomé, Fátima Vila Nova told Angolan journalists today that her country is satisfied with the air connection between Angola and her country with the arrival on the scene of the Flay company.

Speaking on the occasion of the inauguration of the first commercial flight that will henceforth connect Angola and São Tomé and Príncipe, Fátima Vila Nova said that they are open to receiving foreign investment, including Angolan investment, in the tourism sector.

The fact that the Island has essential conditions for tourism is, according to the First Lady, an element of motivation for more Angolans to board the Flay to enjoy the natural landscapes of São Tomé.

He adds that tourism in his country is boosted by the private sector and there are spaces for interested Angolans to come and invest.

Flay Angola made its first air connection with São Tomé Island yesterday, Thursday, and subsequently extended its connection with Príncipe Island today, which will now receive flights from the Angolan company on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The president of the Autonomous Region of Príncipe, Filipe Nascimento, was pleased with the Flay area connection from Luanda, highlighting that tourism on the Island is expected to grow with the arrival of more Angolans and people of other nationalities.

The competitive prices charged by Flay are, in the opinion of the person responsible, a factor that will contribute positively to the growth of Príncipe Island and São Tomé, in general.

The general director of Flay Angola, Berlamício Muangala told OPAÍS that the price of 250 US dollars for the ticket is to be maintained and announced promotions and incentives at special times of the year.
