Asunción, IP Agency.- More than 300 people visited the <a href="https://www.archyde.com/country-brand-for-paraguayan-companies-and-entrepreneurs/" title="“Country Brand” for Paraguayan companies and entrepreneurs”>Cañas Paraguayas Sociedad Anónima (Capasa) plant, located in the emblematic Aristocrat building, one of the most important treasures of the historic center of Asunción. First lady Leticia Ocampos celebrated the large influx of public and underlined the cultural and heritage value that this space represents.
He expressed his joy at seeing how the Aristocrat Museum, a true treasure in the heart of our historic center, received more than 300 people who learned about the work process and the richness of our history through sugarcane.
Likewise, he highlighted that this space is open to the public so that they can learn about the production of one of the most emblematic drinks in the country: Paraguayan sugar cane, he highlighted through his social networks.
The First Lady concluded her message by inviting more Paraguayans and tourists to discover this unique corner of Asunción and learn more about the history of one of the country’s most representative drinks.
From Cañas Paraguayas Sociedad Anónima, they expressed satisfaction with the success of the event and highlighted that Paraguayan cane is a drink of distinction that was consolidated as a Country Brand. “We had the greatest treasure in front of our eyes and we did not see it,” commented the company, in reference to the historical and cultural value of the Aristocrat building and sugar cane production in Paraguay.
The Paraguayan firm has a rich history that dates back to 1909, when the first “distillery association” was formed. Later, in 1941, the Paraguayan Alcohol Corporation (Copal) was founded, which in 1951 became the Paraguayan Alcohol Administration (APAL).
In 1993, the company became Capasa, and since then it has maintained uninterrupted production of high-quality Paraguayan cane, under the Aristocrat and Parapití brands, reports the Office of the First Lady.
