First Kenyan satellite in space: Taifa-1 will collect data to manage drought

Kenya’s first satellite was to be launched on Tuesday by Space X from California but the launch was postponed for a day due to weather. Once in orbit, Taifa 1 should provide data for Kenya’s agriculture, food security and water and forest management. Sékou Ouedraogo, president of the African, Aeronautics & Space Organization, was the guest of the Journal Afrique de France 24 to discuss the subject.
