According to the Bretton Woods institution, the champion of growth in 2022 will drop from 11 to 5.2%, while our country, which was at 4.8%, will make a considerable leap to find itself at 08%.
With 10.5%, 2024 will be better than 2023
This means that to deal with the global health disaster caused by Covid-19, which has deregulated all economies, Senegal has successfully implemented its resilience policy.
Better still, according to World Bank forecasts, 2024 will be better than 2023 for Senegal, in terms of economic growth with a growth rate of 10.5%.
According to the said report, in the top 10 of the countries which will record the most growth in 2023, appear, in order, following Senegal, first in the class, Niger (07.1%), Côte d’Ivoire (6.8%), Rwanda (6.7%), Democratic Republic of Congo (6.4%), Benin (06.2%), Togo (05.6%), Uganda, Mauritius, (05.5%) and Ethiopia (05.3%).
