This Saturday, July 13, marks the first day of the 144th edition of the Foire du Midi in Brussels, which will close on August 18.
The doors opened at 1 p.m. and the people of Brussels came in large numbers for this first day. “We hope it will work, but I think it should be fine. We are happy to be here,” says a fairground worker. “There are already people, people are eagerly waiting for the fair to open and we are ready to welcome them.”rejoices another.
For them, the Midi fair remains the unmissable event of the year and should not be missed. If this depends on several factors, the location is one of them. Some argue for moving the event to the Heysel site, but this opinion is not shared by all.
As a reminder, this year the sponsor of the edition is none other than the goalkeeper and captain of Union Saint-Gilloise Anthony Moris and the sponsor is the association Make A Wish, which allows sick children to make their wishes come true.
