First day of spring in Omsk: photo for memory

The change of season in Omsk turned out to be gloomy, but you can already feel the breath of the approaching spring. Especially looking at the first spring shots of our photographer Ilya Petrov.

The first day of March in Omsk was cloudy, and by the evening it started snowing, but it doesn’t matter – spring has come anyway. The city overwintered with varying degrees of success and began to slowly awaken. It’s already slushy in places, and the snow still needs to be removed (we hope there will be no more snowfalls), but the sunny smiles of Omsk residents are already flashing like spring. Our photojournalist Ilya Petrov walked along the city streets on a spring evening and captured how Omsk switches to a “warm schedule”.
