A 23-year-old man surnamed Zheng in New Taipei City applied for a job as an employee at a car wash shop in Yonghe District. Unexpectedly, on the first day of work, he secretly rode his boss’s red-plated heavy machine on Beiyi Highway for a ride. The boss surnamed Lin found his car that night. He was nowhere to be found, so he quickly reported the case to the police for help. The police tracked down all the way according to the surveillance images, only to find out that the person who stole the car was his employee. The police finally followed the route and arrested Zheng Nan.
It is understood that at about 20 o’clock in the evening on November 6th, Lin Nan, who runs a car wash, hurried to the Xiulangqiao Sub-bureau of Yonghe Sub-bureau to report the case. The police checked the monitor screen and found that the thief walked out of the car wash, put on his safety helmet leisurely, and finally rode the heavy machine away. After comparing the figure and characteristics of the police, Lin Nan recognized the thief as No. 1 An employee surnamed Zheng who works every day.
The Yonghe branch investigated all the way according to the license plate and found that Zheng Nan had stolen the car and headed towards Beiyi Highway in Xindian District. He immediately notified Xindian and Yilan police to assist in intercepting and rounding up. Yonghe police chased him from behind. A stolen heavy machine was found in front of a public toilet at 56.5 kilometers from Yilu Road, and Zheng Nan, who was changing clothes in the toilet, was arrested on the spot.
During the interrogation, Zheng Nan confessed to the crime, claiming that after get off work, he found that the car key of the heavy motorcycle had not been removed, so he became greedy for a while, and wanted to borrow it for a ride.
