In Alimo and Anagennisi Lamia, the promotion tickets to the 2nd National Men’s Polo Championship ended up. The news of the case, of course, is that Christodoulos Kolombos celebrated, with the second, his first coaching success.
Alimos (as Champion) and Anagennisi Lamia, secured promotion to the 2nd National Team in Men’s Polo, after the matches of the final phase of the 3rd National Team, which took place on 27-28/7 at the swimming pool of Alimos.
The former dominated with three wins and 9 points in total, while the latter managed to overcome Alexandroupolis and with the draw they got in the game with the Penguins of Rhodes secure the second ticket for the Second National League.
The most interesting part of the story is of course how Christodoulos Columbus celebrated the first coaching success of his career.
Already in his debut as a coach, the long-time national team stalwart and Tokyo Olympic silver medalist (he also remains an ENKA athlete) helped Lamia Renaissance to reach the goal of promotion to the second national team and show that it can develop into a capital of the of Greek water polo and from the position of coach.
