In an official ceremony in Riyadh, capital of Saudi Arabia, El Salvador inaugurated its new embassy in the Middle East, becoming the first Central American nation to have diplomatic representation in that country.
«Saudi Arabia and El Salvador share, in their vision of Government, a structure of values and principles that distinguishes us in our respective regions. “We are extremely grateful for joining us in projects that are of great benefit to our population,” said Chancellor Alexandra Hill Tinoco.
The event was also preceded by the Salvadoran ambassador, Ricardo Cucalón Levy; and the ambassador of Saudi Arabia in Mexico, concurrent to El Salvador, Haytham bin Hassan Al-Malki.
This diplomatic headquarters will allow new commercial relations, business, investments and tourism, the creation of more cooperation projects and technological development and innovation initiatives.
