Since the beginning of June, 654 residents of the Quebec region have received the vaccine once morest monkeypox. This number includes people who were vaccinated outside the territory.

For now, vaccination is offered at two facilities: at the CLSC Haute-Ville and at the Clinique des Promenades de Beauport.

Access to the monkeypox vaccine is restricted to “men (cis or trans) who have had sexual contact with other men in the Montreal area, or plan to travel there soon and have sexual contact with other men”.

The target population can make an appointment on the web.

“For the moment, there is no community transmission, that is to say that the positive cases detected have contracted the virus outside the Capitale-Nationale”, indicated by email the CIUSSS of the National Capital.
