Firefox 119 allows you to insert images into PDF files

Firefox’s PDF viewer can no longer just be used to simply view PDF files, but also to fill out PDF forms or add text and drawings. Firefox 119 also offers the ability to insert images.

Sometimes it may be necessary to edit an existing PDF file and place additional text annotations. Drawing on PDF files has also been possible since Firefox 106. What was still missing and will be added to Firefox 119 is the ability to integrate additional images into PDF files. Possible use cases for this would be, for example, stamps or signatures on digital documents.

Of course, accessibility should not be neglected either. Therefore, images can either be marked as decorative or an alternative text can be stored that is made available to users of assistive technologies.
