“Firefighters Quickly Control Store Fire Triggered by Vehicle in Jumet’s Avenue du Grand Vivier”

The firefighters of the Jumet advanced post intervened this Saturday at the beginning of the followingnoon at the avenue du Grand Vivier. A fire started at the back of the HEMA store in the reserve. Employees evacuated all customers. When they arrived, the fire men, under the orders of Lieutenant Vannieuwenhoven, found that the start of the fire was coming from a van parked in the store’s garage. The affected vehicle was pulled out and hosed down. The situation was quickly brought under control.
