Red flames and smoke rise from the window of an officetel.

To escape the fire, people lined up and climbed down the stairs to evacuate.

The fire department believes that the fire started from mosquito repellent in this house. As the fire spread around, the meter melted and the hallway walls were scorched black.

A resident in his 30s who lived on the 8th floor where the fire broke out was evacuated before the fire authorities arrived.

The damage might have been greater because it was early in the morning when everyone was sleeping, but the fire was announced by knocking on each door, and 56 residents were able to evacuate quickly.

Residents who evacuated also recalled the situation at the time and wiped away their surprised hearts.

The district office has set up temporary accommodation in a nearby hotel for the affected residents.

The fire department believes that the fire started from mosquito repellent smoked by residents of the room where the fire broke out, and plans to identify it.
