The situation with the fire in Kos remains difficult as the fire front extends to a radius of several kilometers due to the strong winds blowing in the area.
112 rang again about the fire in Kos and calls on the citizens to evacuate Kardamena to the Antimachia area as the flames are very close and there are houses, hotels and tourist accommodation in the area.
Shortly after 7 pm, the Police informed the residents and visitors of Kardamena to move away from the area and head towards Antimachia, as the fire is approaching the village.
The use of water should be done with great care, where required, only in absolutely necessary cases, it is emphasized.
Buses go to the hotels to take people away.

68 firefighters, 6 groups of hikers, 9 vehicles, 6 aircraft and 2 helicopters are working at the scene of the fire in Rhodes.
15 firefighters and two vehicles that will go from Rhodes are still expected.
