An alarm was sounded at noon on Sunday in Chios, following a fire that broke out in the area of Komi.
The fire occurred in agro-forestry areas.
38 firefighters with two groups of pedestrians, 13 vehicles and two helicopters are operating on the spot.
Shortly before 2 in the followingnoon, a message from 112 was sent to the residents of the area.
