A big rekindling of the fire took place a while ago in Dionysos, on the avenue of Aiolis and Konstantinoupoleos.
The residents of Dionysos are in despair and are trying to put out the fire with buckets and tires.
The mayor of the area, Ms. Maichosoglou, spoke about the situation at the scene, who said that she does not know if houses have been burned, although the flames are approaching the residential streets.
“I have appealed for airlift. I was told they are shipping now. In the morning they had put out the fire. Now there was a resurgence in the low part to the right of Dionysos Avenue”, said the mayor and informed that she heard the aerial vehicle that arrived at the scene.
Earlier today, 112 messages were also sent to evacuate the area.
