Around 10 a.m. Monday morning, the Brussels firefighters were called to a fire in the Titeca hospital in Schaerbeek. The building was evacuated, reports Brussels firefighters spokesperson Walter Derieuw.
The fire mainly affected rooms. There were no injuries, according to the spokesperson. The firefighters arrived on site with two command vehicles, three pumpers, two ladder trucks, three SMUR vehicles and five ambulances. The medical intervention plan was triggered as a precautionary measure. The fire was quickly brought under control.
