On July 12, at 07:22, the fire department received a message regarding a fire at a private installation for separating light fractions of gasoline from an oil product in Angarsk. The area of the fire was 240 square meters. No casualties. This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Irkutsk region.
Nine fire brigades are working at the site, which are now cooling nearby tanks and preparing a foam attack to eliminate open burning. The prosecutor’s office of Angarsk put under control the establishment of all the circumstances and causes of the fire.
UPD: The fire at the oil refinery was put out.
