The Interprofessional Health Federation of Quebec (FIQ) does not intend to respond to the government with a new counter-offer, announced its president, Julie Bouchard, on Wednesday on QUB radio.

This was announced by the president of the FIQ, Julie Bouchard, at the microphone of Alexandre Dubé, via QUB radio.

However, the president of the Treasury Board Sonia Lebel was clear: following her last offer, tabled regarding a week ago, the government will not move until it receives a new proposal from the public sector.

“The offers being made to us are unacceptable. We submitted our counter-offer on October 6,” said Ms. Bouchard at the microphone of Alexandre Dubé.

The negotiation therefore seems to have reached an impasse. The fact remains that at the heart of this entire debate, there are patients. The QUB radio host did not fail to point this out.
