The Ministry of Defense of Finland issued a statement, which refers to the preparations for sending the fifth package of additional military assistance to the Ukrainian military.
“Finland sends additional military assistance to Ukraine,” the document says.
At the same time, the Finnish defense department refused to report on the content of these deliveries.
The ministry explained that they would not disclose the method of delivery and the timing of the assistance “to ensure that the assistance reaches the addressee.”
At the same time, it is added that when making a decision on supplies, the needs of Ukraine were taken into account. Earlier in Kyiv, it was stated that they needed heavy military equipment, MLRS, air defense, artillery, and tanks.
Recall that the first military supplies from Finland to Ukraine were sent in February. After that, military assistance to Kyiv was provided monthly. The last fourth delivery took place on 5 May.
