The disciplinary committee spoke out following the incidents that broke out at Bosuil.
According to information relayed by The Gazet van Antwerpthe Disciplinary Committee of the Belgian Union has decided to take several measures following the incidents which broke out during Antwerp – Beerschot on March 6 (2-1).
Antwerp was thus fined effective 3,500 euros, the local supporters having fired pyrotechnics and thrown beer cups.
Beerschot will have to pay 4,000 euros for the use of pyrotechnic equipment, damaging the stands, and for throwing objects on the field.
Both teams can still appeal. As a reminder, Beerschot must play in an empty stadium this Friday.
