As FinderMac users can check all the documents, files and folders contained locally or on external drives, in addition to being able to sync their iPhone/iPad or even their iPod.

Here in the MacMagazine, we have already given several tips involving this native app — among them, how to compress a file natively and reset its factory settings, for example. Today, we’re going to show you how to customize what appears (or doesn’t) on the barra lateral dele.

Check out! ????‍????

First, go to the Finder. This can be done from the Dock, from the Launchpad or using Spotlight. Then head to Finder » Settings… in the menu bar, or use the shortcut ⌘ command ,.

Then, select the “Sidebar” tab and check only those categories that you want to appear there, such as “CDs, DVDs and iOS Devices”, “iCloud Drive” and “On My Mac”. When satisfied, just close this window and exit the Finder settings.

You can then also add, reorder, and remove sidebar items by simply clicking and dragging them right in the Finder.

Simple, isn’t it?! ????‍????
