The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (INAMEH) has forecast rain and lightning in some regions of the country this Saturday, August 17.
Through the Inameh website, it was learned that on the morning of this Saturday, August 17, partly cloudy skies and clear areas are expected in a large part of the national territory.
It also highlights that in the areas of Bolívar south of Anzoátegui, Guarico, south of Amazonas, Apure, Barinas, Portuguesa Los Andes and Zulia, cloudy blankets generating rain or drizzle are expected.
In the afternoon and evening, an increase in cloud cover is expected, accompanied by rainfall of varying intensity and electrical activity.
This latest forecast will be especially in La Guayana Esequiba, Monagas, Anzoátegui, Capital District, Miranda, Aragua Carabobo, Central-Western Plains, Los Andes and Zulia.

Inameh: rain and electrical discharges due to tropical wave 30
“In our territory, activity in the intertropical convergence zone modulated by Tropical Wave number 30 prevails,” it states in its publication.
“Reinforced by local convective effects, generating cloud covers that generate precipitation and cause electrical activity.”
The areas mainly affected will be Guayana Esequiva, Monagas, Anzoátegui, Capital District, Miranda, Aragua, Carabobo, western central plains, Los Andes and Zulia, especially in the evening hours.
