Find out in which new series unveiled at Series Mania, the actress Helena Bonham Carter will be present.
While the Series Mania festival will begin on March 17 in Lille, several series from various backgrounds will be honoured. If the closing ceremony will see the cast of Anna Winger’s new serial creation be present, Marcia Cross will also be on hand for a carte blanche during which she “will present his two favorite episodes from the series of his filmography“. The new series by Russel T. Davies, to whom we owe the writing of Queer as folk or The second comingwill also be shown in an international preview and this one is entitled Nolly. The session, which will take place on March 21 from 7:30 p.m. to 11:10 p.m. at the UGC Ciné-Cité, will unveil the 3 episodes of the show. Executive Producer and Chief Executive Producer Nicola Shindler will be on hand to talk about Nolly.
This tells the story of Noele (or Nolly for those close to this woman), huge star of a successful British soap opera named Crossroads in which she plays the character of the flamboyant widow Meg Richardson. Overnight, Nolly is abruptly fired without any explanation. The series, which will therefore have Helena Bonham Carter as the main actress, will also be able to count on the support of other actors such as Mark Gatiss (Sherlock, Doctor Who), Augustus Prew (Kick-Ass 2, Charlie’s Secret) as well as Con O’Neill (Chernobyl, Happy Valley).
