For the first time, the Parade of Nations will not be held in an Olympic stadium as usual, but will instead take place on the River Seine. Athletes will travel by boat along the river, which will meander through the centre of Paris.

The opening ceremony for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games begins at 10:30 a.m. Pacific Time. Telemundo will offer live coverage of the Opening Ceremony from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Telemundo, Telemundo.com, Telemundo App y Peacock.

The delegations will enter through the centre of Paris. The parade will end its nearly 6-kilometre route in front of the Trocadero, where the other elements of the ceremony and the final performances will take place.

The Olympic brazier will not be installed on the Eiffel Tower, as originally planned by the organisers; instead, the Jardin des Tuileries will host the famous Olympic flame of the Games.
