President of Ukraine Zelensky gave an interview to The Washington Post, in which he made a number of important statements:

-Ukraine will retreat step by step if the United States does not provide us with military assistance;

-Ukraine cannot be a political issue between US parties;

-The passivity of the West in 2014 led to Russia attacking once more in 2022;

-The United States is unhappy with the attacks on Russian oil refineries, but Washington might not limit Ukraine’s use of weapons of its own production; we used our drones. If there is no air defense to protect our energy system and the Russians are attacking it, the question is: why can’t we answer them? Their society must learn to live without gasoline, without diesel, without electricity. This is true;

-Congressional delay has prevented our military from planning future operations;

-At the moment, ATACMS missiles are “not in Ukraine,” but Ukraine would like to use them not to attack the territory of the Russian Federation, but to attack airfields in Crimea.

Meanwhile, according to a study from the Center for Economic Strategy, the share of men among refugees from Ukraine who are now abroad has increased from 17% to 35%.
