Astro Bot

Team Asobi has announced a free Astro Bot update planned for this fall. It will include five new speedrun levels with a ranking system and 10 new special bots to rescue.

Team Asobi announced that Astro Bot will receive new speedrun levels and 10 new Bots Spsocial to be rescued from this fall.

Ghost of Yōtei

Sucker Punch has announced Ghost of Yōtei, which introduces a new protagonist, a new story to tell, and a new region of Japan to explore, coming to PS5 next year.

Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered

Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered will be released on October 31. Its captivating story and stunning post-apocalyptic world are back, accompanied by a series of technological and visual improvements. It features over 10 hours of re-recorded dialogue, motion capture, and countless graphical enhancements elevating the game to the same level of visual fidelity as its critically acclaimed sequel, Horizon Forbidden West. The audio experience has been significantly improved with an overhauled sound mix, now supporting PS5’s 3D Tempest audio technology and Atmos rendering for an immersive soundscape. Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered takes full advantage of the power and features of the PS5 console, and the DualSense controller’s haptic feedback and adaptive triggers ensure incredible immersion during intense combat, stealthy exploration, or mountain climbing. a gigantic Greater Neck.

LEGO Horizon Adventures

PlayStation 5 Pro

PlayStation Plus

This edition of State of Play also gave us some incredible announcements regarding PlayStation Plus. Starting with the announcement of this month’s games: prepare to step into the ring and become a legend, survive the horrors that lurk aboard a mining ship drifting through space and face the high school love throes (but beware of appearances) for the release of WWE 2K24, Dead Space and Doki Doki Literature Club Plus! October 1st.

But that’s not all. We also announced that two must-have titles for early PlayStation fans will be added to PlayStation Plus Classics later this year: Dino Crisis and Legacy of Kain. In a much closer future, The Last of Us Part I will also arrive on PlayStation Plus… this Thursday, September 26. It will also be available to all PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers.

Alan Wake 2: Lake House

Prepare to delve even further into horror with the release next month of the latest expansion for Alan Wake 2 and discover eerie new landscapes on the shores of Cauldron Lake. A catastrophe has occurred at the Lake House, the research station of the Federal Bureau of Control, where darkness has overtaken reality following dangerous experiments.

ArcheAge Chronicles

Announced during the presentation, ArcheAge Chronicles, the latest episode of the ArcheArge series, is an online action-RPG that promises explosive combat, rich storytelling and endless exploration. The game will be released on PS5 next year.

Dynasty Warriors: Origins

The release date for the new installment in Koei Tecmo’s hack-and-slash series has just been revealed. Dynasty Warriors: Origins will be released for PS5 on January 17, 2025. The game will introduce an unnamed hero whose path through Three Kingdoms China will be paved with numerous battles.

The brand new RPG from Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi is coming to PS5 on December 5.

Fear the Spotlight

Fear the Spotlight comes to PS5 and PS4 on October 22, just in time for Halloween.

Fortnite

In October, Epic Games will add a split-screen mode to LEGO Fortnite. This mode will allow friends and family members to explore the world and build villages together, while playing on the same PS5 or PS4 console. Activate split screen and travel together to an unexplored paradise, land of klombos and tribal Bananas, but also of a multitude of pirates, with the Lost Islands, the latest update to LEGO Fortnite.

Hell is Us

Jonathan Jacques-Belletête, creative director and art director at Rogue Factor, walks us through the philosophy behind Hell is Us and its refusal to take players by the hand. The game has no intention of handing out answers on a board to players, and they will have to keep their eyes open and listen to shed light on what is around them and make their own discoveries.

Hitman World of Assassination

The World of Assassination comes to PlayStation VR2 in December with 21 destinations, dual weapon handling, and intuitive movement. Check out the first trailer.

Lunar Remastered Collection

After a 25-year absence, the legendary Lunar JRPG series returns to PlayStation in the form of a remastered collection that brings together Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete and Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete, both boasting improved graphics and numerous improvements in quality of life.

Metro Awakening

Vertigo Games has announced that Metro Awakening will be released on PS VR2 on November 7. The trailer revealed today tells us more about the game. Written by Dmitri Gloukhovski, the creator of the series, the game traces the origins of Khan, one of the franchise’s most beloved characters, formerly known as name of Serdar, as well as the events which forced him to plunge into the unknown to find and save his wife Yana. The trailer offers a new look at the bandits, mutants and other atrocities you’ll face, and shows how Metro Awakening’s signature arsenal and exploration fit into an immersive PS VR2 experience. Benefit from 48 hours early access and a 10% discount by pre-ordering the game in Deluxe Edition.

Monster Hunter Wilds

The release of Monster Hunter Wilds on PS5 is scheduled for February 28, 2025! The trailer for this State of Play (which you can find above) finally reveals the flagship monster of this new opus: the White Specter.

Capcom reveals even more about the game and reveals new areas, new monsters, as well as the Deluxe Edition of the game.

Palworld

Palworld is coming to PS5 today! This open-world survival game, in which you must build your base and collect monsters, can accommodate up to 32 players and takes place in a universe full of mysterious creatures called “Pals”. Collect over 100 types of these mysterious creatures and adventure together across a vast world.

The Midnight Walk
