The head of the Entertainment Authority in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Chancellor Turki Al-Sheikh, Omnia Al-Saghir, visited Saudi Arabia to watch Al-Nasr Club and his favorite player, Ronaldo.
The Portuguese international player, Al-Nasr club, received Cristiano Ronaldo, the Syrian child, who appeared with indescribable happiness, yesterday, Friday.
“my dream came true”
The child’s back ran eagerly towards the player who embraced him, while the little boy expressed his great love and happiness at meeting his favorite star.
In the video, Rabih’s voice is heard saying, “Now my dream has come true.”
While Turki Al-Sheikh commented on the meeting with a tweet on Twitter, yesterday evening, in which he said: “Your happiness is a joy for me… May God protect my Lord, the King and His Highness, the inspiring leader, the Crown Prince, the Prime Minister and the honorable Saudi people, and thanks to the great global star…”.
A video and tweet changed his life
It is noteworthy that the story of Rabeeh began with a video filmed by Emirati journalist Munther Al-Mazki, during his recent visit to Syria as part of the UAE relief campaign, following the devastating earthquake that struck Syria and Turkey.
He appeared at the time in the video, expressing his hope, which he hopes to achieve, by visiting the Kingdom and meeting his favorite player, Cristiano Ronaldo, saying: “I want to go to the stadium and take my mother and father with me, but my father is dead, but I want to see Cristiano.”
Al-Mazki published the clip, saying: “My father is dead, but … a word a Syrian child said with his spontaneity, but it broke our hearts with the story of his love for the Saudi club Al-Nasr and his wish to meet his favorite player, Cristiano Ronaldo.
And from Syria to the Kingdom, the video made its way spreading quickly, through social media, until it reached the hands of those who achieve it, as Counselor Turki Al-Sheikh announced his adoption of the child’s dream, promising to achieve it immediately. And through his Twitter account, Al-Sheikh said at the time: “Oh my son, preach and welcome you and your mother with you.. O good people, who will lead me there?”
It was not long until the child found himself, in a conversation with the head of the Entertainment Authority in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, telling him that he would visit the Kingdom to see Ronaldo and fulfill his hope.
And the child actually arrived in the Kingdom, last week, amid a welcome from his recipients, who accompanied him from his place of disembarkation, until they brought him to his place of residence.
Counselor Turki Al-Sheikh also published a video through his accounts on the means of communication, in which he documents the joy of the child in realizing his dream of his arrival in the Kingdom, under the auspices of the Al-Sheikh family, commenting on it: “God writes the reward of his joy to my Lord, may God protect him and His Highness, our inspiring leader and godfather of the vision – may God protect him – and to the people The honorable Saudi.
In addition, social media celebrated the incident, and many circulated a video of the child playing and having fun throughout the kingdom until he met his favorite star on Friday.
