Final season of the HBO Max original comedy premieres April 16; see trailer

HBO Max has announced the premiere date for the fourth and final season of the Emmy Award-winning original comedy series BARRY. With eight episodes, the production stars and is directed by Bill Hader, also an Emmy and DGA winner. The new season features Cousineau’s (Henry Winkler) acclaim as a hero following the arrest of Barry (Bill Hader), leading to an explosive and hilarious denouement.

“It’s been an incredible journey making this show, and I’m homesick that the story has come to an end,” said Bill Hader.

When will the fourth and final season of Barry be available?

The first two episodes will air on April 16th at 11pmon HBO and HBO Max, while the remaining episodes will be broadcast on the following Sundays, until May 28th.

The series features an Emmy Award-winning cast including Stephen Root, Sarah Goldberg, Anthony Carrigan, Henry Winkler, and Robert Wisdom, as well as special guests. The first three seasons received 44 Emmy nominations, winning nine awards.

Alec Berg and Bill Hader created BARRY, with Bill Hader, Alec Berg, Aida Rodgers, and Liz Sarnoff executive producing. Hader directed all eight episodes of the final season, written by Bill Hader, Liz Sarnoff, Duffy Boudreau, Taofik Kolade, Emma Barrie, Mark Ashmore and Nicky Hirsch.
