A few months before the release of Call of Duty : Modern Warfare II, the next opus developed by Infinity Ward polarizes all the attention of fans of the license. Nevertheless, Call of Duty : Vanguard et Warzone still bring together many players who have not dropped out of Activision’s battle royale and that’s good since the fifth and final season of the Vanguard and Warzone era will be deployed on August 24th.

As always, this new season arrives with an update bringing its share of novelties and fixes. The multiplayer mode and the zombie mode of Call of Duty Vanguard obviously come into the equation even if the trailer, always so well done, focuses on the lore of Warzone.
“Last Stand brings major updates to all three gameplay experiences. In Warzone, Caldera Peak is ready to rumble – will you wreak havoc or defend the island from sabotage?
In Multiplayer, deploy on two new fast-paced maps, Beheaded and Fortress. In Zombies mode, continue the saga of Dark Aether and face Kortifex the Deathless in Vanguard’s final round, ‘The Archon’.
Note the arrival of new operators, including the two major antagonists, Raul Menendez and Khaled Al-Asad. New weapons are also planned such as the BP-50 assault rifle inspired by the Belgian FN F2000 or the PA 225 submachine gun.
Season 5 “Final Stand” will be deployed on Wednesday August 24 at 6 p.m. French time. This season will therefore close Call of Duty Warzone after more than 2 years of existence. Activision will launch Call of Duty : Warzone 2 After some time Call of Duty : Modern Warfare II in late 2022 on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC via Battle.net and Steam. Call of Duty Warzone first of the name will nevertheless always be playable separately.
