Audible launches ‘Juízo Final’ audio series with Porta dos Fundos at CCXP 2024
São Paulo, December 6, 2024 – Audible, a leading creator and distributor of high-quality audio entertainment, launches the audio series with Porta dos Fundos Final Judgment. The new content stars comedians Ed Gama and Tathi Lopes, who play the couple Bruno and Fernanda. The cast features names like Daniel Furlan, playing the Devil, and Caito Mainier, playing Jesus. Final Judgment, created by Ian SBF and scripted by Guilherme Portella, tells the story of a couple in marital crisis who discover that, after the end of the world, they will face divine judgment. The ten audio episodes are now available to all subscribers of the service, as announced today at Comic Con Experience 2024 (CCXP) in São Paulo.
The Audible Original of the audio series was announced on Friday 6th, on the Thunder stage, with the presence of part of the cast, such as actors and comedians Thati Lopes, Caito Mainier and Daniel Furlan
In the plot, Ed Gama’s character narrates, in a comical way, his journey after discovering that the final judgment will take place in ten days and that the dead will come back to life, including Rogério, his wife’s ex. The narrative also features zombies and a curious application created by Jesus that allows humanity to discover who will go to heaven or hell. The Devil, who offers help to the couple with the promise that they will go to heaven, will demand a high price for this.

The title, narrated by Maíra Góes, joins the list of originals released by Audible this year in Brazil. Among the highlights are the investigative audio series “Yawara – A Hidden History About Brazil”, with Alice Braga and Daiara Tukano, and “From Heaven to Hell – The Herberts Cukurs Case”, by Patrícia Hargreaves. There is also the fiction “Ninguém com Esse Nome”, with Cláudia Abreu and Eduardo Moscovis, and historical content such as “Apartheid Tropical”, by Thiago André. The service also features personal narratives, such as “Nem Só de Pão”, by Paola Carosella, “Por Que Mudei?”, by Lázaro Ramos, and “Clube das Impostoras”, by Rafa Brites.
