SQUARE ENIX has announced that the FINAL FANTASY Pixel Remaster series, only playable on Steam and mobile so far, will be available on PS4 and Switch on April 19, 2023.
Series of pixel art remasters combine all the magic of games FINAL FANTASY I To FINAL FANTASY VI originals and various improvements while remaining faithful to the retro design of these masterpieces.
PlayStation 4 and Switch versions of the FINAL FANTASY Pixel Remaster series include original features, such as the ability to alternate between the games’ rearranged and original soundtracks, or choose between the game’s default font or a pixel font. Other features to approach games in different ways are also available, such as the ability to disable random battles and changing the experience multipliers earned between x0 and x4.
Digital versions of all six games in the FINAL FANTASY Pixel Remaster series, from FINAL FANTASY To FINAL FANTASY VIwill be sold separately, as well as as a set with the FINAL FANTASY I-VI BUNDLE. People who purchase one or more games in the series on Nintendo Switch before May 25, 2023 will receive two themed wallpapers inspired by the game(s) purchased. People who will buy FINAL FANTASY I-VI BUNDLEthe complete series, will receive all 12 wallpapers.
People who purchase the digital version of one or more games in the series on PlayStation 4 from April 19, 2023 to May 25, 2023 will receive a matching theme and avatar for each game purchased. People who will buy FINAL FANTASY I-VI BUNDLEthe complete series, will receive all the themes and avatars included with the individual games, i.e. six themes and six avatars.
