Cologne Welcomes Leading Film Foundation
After 33 years in Düsseldorf, the Film and Media Foundation NRW has relocated to Cologne, taking up residence in the iconic Deichmannhaus. This prime location places the foundation in the heart of the city, close to both Cologne Cathedral and the main train station.
A New Home for Creativity
The foundation’s new address is Deichmannhaus, Bahnhofsvorplatz 1, 50667 Cologne. While new telephone numbers will be announced soon, employees remain available by phone using existing contact information.
“Looking at the cathedral and the Rhine, I can only say: we have arrived! Hello, Cologne!” exclaimed Walid Nakschbandi, Managing Director of the Film and Media Foundation NRW. “We are now looking forward to meeting our new neighbors – with the many producers, creative people, gamers, and of course the big TV channels that make Cologne a pulsating media center”
“Saying goodbye to Düsseldorf was anything but easy. We will of course continue to maintain the strong bonds that have grown over the years,” he added. “But we are very happy to be here in Cologne and feel extremely welcome. Thanks for this and for the great support in advance to Mayor Henriette Reker and her entire team, who made this step easier for us. Here’s to an inspiring future and many creative encounters!”.
