Paris: Second division club Regina announced on Tuesday the signing of coach Filippo Inzaghi without a club since he was sacked by Brescia in March, to supervise the team.
The 48-year-old former international striker and AC Milan star will oversee Regina, who finished 14th last season, for three years.
“I am very satisfied and, I think, our fans too,” said club president Marcello Cardona via the official website. “With Pepio Inzaghi we have the proof of determination in the way Felici Saladini (the club’s new owner) supports the project we have built.”
Inzaghi started his coaching career with his former club “Rossoneri” between 2013 and 2015 (beginning under 19 years and then the first team), before sitting on the bench of the third-degree Venezia, to ascend him to the second. Later, he moved to Bologna for a short period only to be sacked in January 2019.
