“Journey for One Smile”, “Abel, Your Brother” and “Stawiam na Tolka Banana” are productions in which Filip Łobodziński appeared years ago, trying his hand at being a child actor. However, as an adult, he took up other jobs. He was and still is, among others: music reviewer and translator. What is closest to his heart?
– Literary translations are probably number one, followed by playing in music bands and volunteering for homeless animals. – said the 65-year-old in the Dzień Dobry TVN studio.
Filip Łobodziński has recently published a book that is supposed to be a kind of autobiography, or more precisely – a collection of reflections rather than a chronological list of events in the 65-year-old’s life. The translator mentioned difficult chapters of existence, which undoubtedly include the loss of one of his daughters. Maria passed away at the age of 21 following a battle with glioblastoma.
– Suffering does not ennoble. This is a serious injury from which there is no recovery. At least I didn’t succeed and I don’t really believe that anyone might, but I wish others might. I don’t know how to do it. Of course, life goes on. The sun is still rising, you have to go to the store for parsley, etc. There is no caressing. But this [cierpienie – przyp. red.] is and always will be – he confessed on Dzień Dobry TVN.
Another blow for Filip Łobodziński was a diagnosis from a urologist. The man was diagnosed with a malignant tumor, but the surgery was successful. How does a 65-year-old get involved in helping animals? Check out our video.
