This loss is the largest in the history of Jose Mourinho, coach of Roma in the Italian League.
In his history with the five major leagues, Mourinho lost by 4 goals or more only twice before this.

It is also the first loss for Roma in the league this season, to freeze its balance at 10 points in fifth place, while Udinese advanced to the fourth with a goal difference.

In the same round, Verona beat Sampdoria with two goals to one, as Sampdoria advanced with a Francesco Caputo goal in the 40th minute.
Verona quickly returned with a goal from Emile Odeiro in the 44th minute, then Josh Doig’s winning goal in the 45 + 3 minute.
