Sherif Aboul Gheit, the official spokesman for the Enppi club, stressed that he had not received any official offer to join Ibuka so far, noting that there were verbal negotiations from more than one club, which is what happened with Mustafa Shalaby as well.

Sherif Aboul Gheit said in statements to Al-Mehwar TV: “Ibuka’s transfer to Al-Masry has not yet taken place. There are negotiations with Al-Masry and other clubs. He is one of the best strikers in the league.”

He added, “There has not yet been an official offer to sign the player, it is all verbal, and a clear offer is expected to arrive this week.”

Ibuka scored 13 goals and assisted four others in 32 league games last season.

Mostafa Shalaby, 27, plays in the left wing position, and he moved to the ranks of Enppi in 2020 from Assiut Petroleum.

Shalaby contributed to 12 goals in the league competition last season, as he scored 11 goals and assisted two others in 31 matches he played with the team.

He continued, “Ali Fawzy was wronged by not joining the Egyptian national team, and he presents very distinguished levels.”

And he concluded regarding Vieira’s future, “The Football Committee is currently in a permanent meeting. What the team presented last season did not satisfy us. A session will be held with the coach to assess what happened last season and we will take a decision on what will happen next season.”

Enppi finished the league last season in ninth place with 39 points.
