Fifty Dubai policemen have been sent to Umrah at the expense of the army, officials say. The project is being implemented by the Department of Islamic and Tolerance Affairs under the General Department of Community Happiness.
Officials said the staff, who did not perform Umrah, were sponsored indiscriminately by men and women, and the joy of those who left was indescribable.
