‘Fine Daddy’ Shin Hyeon-joon revealed that he once lied to his children regarding his age.
In the KBS 2TV entertainment program ‘Problem Child in the Rooftop Room’, which aired on the followingnoon of the 1st, actor Shin Hyun-joon appeared as a guest and showed off his candid talk.
The MCs first asked, “I heard you lied regarding your age to the kids.” Shin Hyun-joon recalled, “Once, he was curious regarding his father’s age. Suddenly, his son asked how old he was.”
He said, “I thought it would be surprising if my son knew my age, so I said, ‘Dad, you’re 30.’ I did,” he said, causing laughter.
Shin Hyun-jun said, “I thought I forgot, but my son said, ‘If you eat rice cake soup, you get one year older, so your dad is 31 years old and your mom is 20 years old. That’s it. It says I’m the only one who’s 55. My son thought it was weird.”
“My son asked me, ‘Isn’t this me?’ I was angry. I had never raised my voice before, but I did,” he confessed and gave a big laugh.
