Direction Enghien this Monday, October 10, 2022 for the Tiercé-Quarté-Quinté +. In this event, the Prix du Pont des Arts will have to compete once morest each other as runners. The race will be contested over 2875 meters, and endowed with 57,000€.
In this event, Dexpresso Smart (5) has been away from competition for a long time, before joining the boxes of Junior Guelpa. He won in June as an amateur, beating his record over the 2,100 meters (1’11’9), but did not confirm this summer in Cagnes, being indelicate. He needs immediate reassurance. In pure value, it can very well be placed at this level. It will be railed as recently. Not easy to locate.
Geny’s secrets
Matthew Varin: Figaro Gema (1) was a little withered following his beautiful summer and lacked a bit of success. I gave him some time since his last outing. In training, he shows more bite and desire. It needs a race for the economy to fully express itself. Playing at Enghien will suit him perfectly. He should participate at the finish.
Pierre-Yves Verva: Elauric de Carel (2) suffered from health problems, then we took our time. It has just completed two return races. The last time, in Châlons-en-Champagne, he showed the end of his nose. However, he will still be short of competition and this outing will do him good for the future.
Matthew Varin: Edgar Thoris (3) would have finished on the podium in Laval without his fault. He just wanted to jump. Physically, he is very well, ready to shine. The coach had done a bad job up front. It should not be judged on its last raw performances. He was much better in Laval already. Here, I expect a very good performance from him. He is my preference.
Bryan Coppens: Espit Chupitos (4) held his amateur game very well, for his first outing under his new training. He has worked well since and will present himself at his best. We need to get to know him better. It is obviously not a great “turner”. On Monday, he will be provided with small alus. Even if this race has test value, fifth place remains within reach.
Sebastien Ernault: Flying Brickell (6) is really perfect at work. I’ve probably never had it like this. Lately, he has made mistakes but was running well despite everything. I’ve seen this run at the front rung for a little while. It has proven itself on this track. I plate it from the forelegs. It will be as good as unshod, especially at Enghien. If he is wise, I really count on him.
Pierre Sorais: Dream Together (7) wasn’t too lucky on the course last, then came out on top early and didn’t let go. It was good. It is not always consistent, but it is perhaps better in winter and is therefore entering its period of form. There are only aged horses, no Europeans and the lot is not extraordinary. If he has a good run, he can, why not, be fifth.
Julien Raffestin: Faucon de l’Alba (8) is having a good year overall. He is sometimes sickly, as during his penultimate outing in Strasbourg, where he was at fault. He remains on an encouraging second place and discovers, in the process, a tailor-made entry near the team. If he is having a good day, he should finish in the fifth.
Jean-Philippe Raffegeau: Fanatic Flash (9) has defended itself well this summer and has shown good consistency. During his last race at Cabourg, he found himself too far when he had to go twenty-five meters. Since then, he has regained freshness while waiting for this golden commitment. I brought him to work at Grosbois in order to better prepare for this objective. I count on him to take an active part at the finish.
Arnaud Gilles Maillard: Des Sabots d’Or (11) attacked hard recently at Vincennes, where he had to return twenty-five meters to younger players. He had a very good season on grass tracks. This race will above all allow me to see if he is not a little tired at the end of the season. He has no room for manoeuvre, I need him to reassure me. I’m moving to Jamaica from Oyse.
Cedric Terry: Dick des Malberaux (12) has had health problems during his career, you have to deal with. Recently, he attacked Fepson, who would have a first chance here, when he galloped at Laval. He recovered well from his efforts. You have to go the distance, but if he is wise, he is very capable of competing for the first places.
Ludovic Le Drean: Dollar du Plain (13) would have fought for the podium without his fault at the start of the straight in Laval. His partner unstrapped him, and in the sprint, he nosedived. In condition, he is very good. The flat profile of Enghien will serve him. It is necessary to return the distance, but with a favorable progress, it can dispute the arrival.
Andre LeCourtois: Foxtrot Nobless (14) found himself too far from the start last time, his chances were over. However, he performed well in these conditions. It has remained well and is progressing in its category. If all goes well with this wait-and-see, we can count on him.
Romain Dérieux: Easy Maza (15) was not very well placed at the start lately, in a rhythmic race, and might not come back. It won’t be worse at Enghien. You have to go the distance and face 7-year-olds. It will need a clear flow. With a little success, he can aim for a small place, not much better.
Matthew Abrivard: Fabulous Dream (16) has been galloping lately. For some time now, he has been alternating between disqualifications and allowances. I’ve made some adjustments and I’m going to leave him on the hindquarters. He should be more comfortable in this configuration. It has already behaved well at Enghien and the entry is ideal. It would be enough for him to be wise and determined to win such a test.
