Direction Dieppe this Tuesday, August 30, 2022 for the Tiercé-Quarté-Quinté +. In this event, the Prix de la Région Normandie will have to compete once morest each other as starters. The race will be contested over 1100 meters, and endowed with 50,000€.
In this event, Sassy Rascal (9) got off to a bad start in July, she had a less clear, but rather encouraging end to the race. It disappointed recently at Deauville. She therefore needs reassurance. That said, if we judge it on its attempt at Cannes, it can grab a place, even if we must not lose sight of the fact that it will face its elders for the first time.
Geny’s secrets
Miss Anne-Sophie Crombez: Baileys Blues (1) likes soft, even heavy ground. It’s a bit of an “off” year with him, but at some point you have to run for him to keep up. We try with Australian blinkers. He is in shape. Only the terrain is a problem. He never performed too well in Dieppe either, but he needs to race to prepare for the fall.
Stéphane Wattel: Mysterious Land (2) ran badly last time but I don’t know why… Looks good to me in the morning. However, this is a shorter test. He needs reassurance. Milord’s Song (3) is a horse that comes in great shape at this time of year. He’s a good servant, looks good to me. He’s going to have to dash outside, I don’t know if it’s going to be embarrassing or not. If he can benefit from a good trip, in the right wagon, he can take part at the finish.
Matthew Boutin: Tudo Bem (4) remains on a good performance despite the fact that he consumed a lot of energy during the course. Since then, he has remained in a fine state of physical and mental shape. Irreproachable in Dieppe, I hope to see him fight for the first places.
Jean-Vincent Cough: Mubaalegh (5) is well known at this level, as he will play his eleventh event. Finally, in the Grand Handicap des Sprinters, he defended himself well, barely failing for a better classification. Competitive at this value, it should not be forgotten when choosing. He’s a contender for the top spots.
Andrew Hollinshead: Crew Dragon (6) is in good shape. He enjoys the Dieppe racecourse. He can certainly finish in the top five, but the race conditions change. He is certainly better in less provided starters. However, in its current form, it cannot be eliminated.
Mario Baratti: Marie’s Picnic (7) has remained in good shape since its last outing. The batch seems less strong to me than last. With a good progress of the race, I think it can be placed. At this value, it will be necessary to benefit from a tailor-made course to envisage success.
Romain Le Dren Doleuze: Shalgoda Diamond (8) has been unhappy with the ropes every time she has run straights. It’s the kind of race where you realize that she has the level, but no room for manoeuvre. However, it is consistent and with a good trip, it can perform.
Eoghan-J. O’Neill: Hallowed Time (10) reared up and opened his stall before the others lately. However, he started very late and the race was over. It deserves a repurchase, because although penalized by weight, I believe it can defend itself well in such a lot. His form is unmistakable in training. A place is not to be excluded.
Henri-Alex Pantall: Heads or Tails (11) is a colt who is quite tense. If we manage to relax him, that can do it, because he has proven that he has the means. Everything will depend on his behavior. It’s not a sure hit. It’s… heads or tails!
Yann Lerner: Yellow Curry (12) was new to the handicap category recently and performed very well. The filly remained in good shape and will try this time once morest the elders. The game is not won in advance, but I think it keeps its say, at least for the places, especially since its value has been revised downwards by two pounds.
Mme Gina Rarick: Detesnouvelles (13) will face his elders. On these distances, there is not too much choice of commitments. If she runs the same way as in Deauville, she would need a 1,400 meters. There, there are still a hundred meters less than the last time. Before the start, it doesn’t seem easy, but we will do everything to try to grab a place.
Gavin Hernon: Fleur de Baileys (14) won well last time in Deauville. She is in very good shape, but I would have preferred it to rain a little. It goes in the right field, but to win a straight, which is more once morest the “old” that it will face for the first time, it would need a deeper ground. This being the case, she has the right to be at the finish.
Frédéric Head: Al Ula (15) has just run well in Deauville a fortnight ago. She stayed well. The distance is a bit shorter, but that shouldn’t be a problem.
Mario Hofer: Gamgoom (16) would have been better in the second round. It’s not easy for him here. We’ll see.
