The African champion added: “The Al-Ahly delegation responded to (FIFA) with a letter in which it explained the reasons for Al-Ahly players wearing the warm-up shirt No. 72, but (FIFA) confirmed that Al-Ahly will be subject to penalties if it violates the International Federation’s regulations.”
