The International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA) announces that Indonesia has been stripped of the right to host the FIFA U-20 Youth World Cup.
FIFA announced today, Wednesday, that Indonesia has been stripped of its right to host the FIFA U-20 World Cup.
Indonesia was supposed to host the tournament between May 20 and June 11, but the Asian country witnessed demonstrations once morest hosting the tournament if the Israeli occupation team participated in it.
In the past weeks, demonstrations and voices refusing to host the occupation team continued, as the governor of the tourist island of Bali, Ian Koster, called on the government of Indonesia to prevent the Israeli national team from participating in the matches held in that Indonesian province.

FIFA canceled the tournament draw, which was supposed to be held on the island of Bali, following its ruler refused to host any delegation from the occupation, which prevented it from being held.
And the FIFA statement stated that “FIFA” decided, due to the current circumstances, to exclude Indonesia from hosting the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
