Today, Saturday, the International Football Association “FIFA” officially responded to the Algerian Football Federation “FAF”, regarding the replay of the match between Cameroon and Algeria in the second leg of the decisive round of the African qualifiers for the World Cup “Qatar 2022”.
The Algerian Federation published the text of the statement, on its official website on Facebook, confirming that it had received the official letter from the FIFA arbitration committee.
“We checked all the suspicious footage during the Cameroon-Algeria match, with high accuracy by the video assistant referees (the mouse), in accordance with the laws of the game,” the statement said.
The International Federation expressed its regret for the feeling of the Algerian Federation that Gambian referee Bakary Gassama, changed the course of the match.
