Also according to the announcement, the organization’s goal is to develop a new football game for 2024, which will continue with the name of the entity. To that end, the company said it has been in contact with publishers, media companies and investors.

FIFA vs. EA
With nearly 30 years of partnership, it’s been a while since EA and FIFA have found each other odd, hinting at a divorce. Last year, EA had already communicated that it was considering changing the name of the giant football game and also spoke of “creative freedom”, something that with FIFA was restricted.
In addition, the game’s publisher has indicated that FIFA will request an amount of US$1 billion every 4-year cycle to renew the contract, which now runs until the end of 2022.
