With France still in second place, the list of the top ten teams in the FIFA rankings saw Spain advance 5 places to third place following winning the European Nations Cup “Euro 2024”.

England remained in fourth place, Brazil dropped to fifth, Belgium to sixth and the Netherlands to seventh.

Portugal came in eighth place, Colombia entered the top ten, occupying ninth place, while Italy came in last, occupying tenth place.

The Saudi national team continued to decline in the FIFA rankings, coming in at 56th place globally, noting that its average ranking in 2022 was 49th before falling to 53rd, then 54th, then to 56th.

The Greens’ decline comes following two consecutive losses in the FIFA days, which took place in the middle of this month, when they lost to Costa Rica 1-3 and failed once morest the South Korean national team by a score of one goal to none.

Japan topped the Asian rankings, coming in 18th place globally, helped by its four-goal win over Germany, followed by Iran, which came in 20th place, Australia in 22nd place, then South Korea in 23rd place globally. Qatar advanced to 34th place, Iraq in 55th place, Saudi Arabia in 56th place, Jordan in 68th place, the Emirates in 69th place, and Oman in 76th place.

The Moroccan national team also dropped two places to 14th in the world rankings, while continuing to lead the African teams, due to the rise of the teams of the Old Continent and Latin America, by many places, as a result of their participation in the European Nations Cup, which was won by the Spanish national team, and the Copa America, which was won by Lionel Messi’s teammates.

The Algerian team dropped two places, to 46th place, while the Egyptian team remained in 36th place, while Senegal, Ivory Coast and Nigeria each dropped one place, while South Africa rose two places.
