FIFA published punishment for Chile for incidents against Argentina and Uruguay

The FIFA published this Monday, May 2, the sanctions taken by the Disciplinary Commission after the incidents in the first quarter of 2022 in the Qatar 2022 Qualifiers, which includes Chile for the events of the matches against Uruguay and Argentina.

In the case of the match against the trasandinos in Calama, on January 27, received a fine of 80,000 Swiss francs and a match with reduced capacity, as a result of violations of player sanctions, discriminatory behavior by fans and throwing of objects.

In addition, he received another fine of 15,000 Swiss francs for invading the field of play and throwing objects in the match against Uruguay, on March 29, in San Carlos de Apoquindo.

The total of the monetary sanctions that the ANFP will have to cover will be close to 84 million pesos.
