FIFA gives Kahraba a 60-day deadline to pay the Zamalek fine… and 30,000 francs a new penalty

A source in the Football Association confirmed the arrival of an official letter from FIFA, regarding the fine imposed on Mahmoud Abdel Moneim “Kahraba”, Al-Ahly wing, in the Zamalek case.

Kahraba terminated his contract with Zamalek unilaterally, so that the white club went to the International Federation and then the International Sports Court, and Zamalek obtained a ruling fining Kahraba $ 2 million in addition to 5% interest on the amount, starting from June 20, 2019 until the date of full payment of the fine amount, in favor of Zamalek Club. Due to his non-compliance with his contract with the White Castle in 2019, and moving to the Portuguese ranks of Avis, and then joining Al-Ahly, and other than the financial fine, the Sports Court decided to suspend Kahraba for a period of six months, so that he would return following the end of the suspension period to participate with the red team.

The source added, in exclusive statements to “kora plus”: “The International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA) decided to give Mahmoud Abdel Moneim Kahraba, Al-Ahly player, a final deadline of 60 days to pay the Zamalek fine.”

He continued: “In the event of non-payment within 60 days, he will be prevented from practicing any sporting activity for a period of 6 months.”

He concluded, “FIFA approved in its speech that Kahraba be fined 30,000 francs, to be paid within 30 days.”

The Disciplinary Committee of the International Federation of Football Associations “FIFA” held a session on February 2, during which it discussed the case, and the session came to find out the reasons for Kahraba’s failure to comply with the decision to pay the fine in favor of Zamalek. Several years, and demanding that he not issue a new penalty of suspension in order to allow him to continue participating in matches to obtain his salary from his club and then be able to pay the fine, following his previous suspension expired on January 11, and the player returned to participate with his team.

The Zamalek club administration submitted a student memorandum during the imposition of a new penalty on Kahraba Mali, in addition to renewing his suspension following the end of the first suspension period.
