FIFA decides to allow Ukraine players to sign with other clubs outside the transfer period

Ukraine’s professional players can now sign clubs outside the transfer window, the International Football Association Board (FIFA) announced on Wednesday. He noted that the amendment is temporary. He stressed that he would “continue to closely monitor the situation in Ukraine to ensure that the regulatory framework reflects any developments.”

In a step from the International Football Association towards football UkrainianOn Wednesday, FIFA announced that players from this country can be registered outside the transfer period following amending the rules on player transfers.

FIFA explained that the amendment is temporary and aims to help Ukrainian clubs and players who have been affected by the Russian invasion of the country.

“Ukrainian players may be allowed to register with another club even following the expiry of the registration period in the association of the club in which they intend to register,” FIFA said in a statement.

He stressed that he will “continue to closely monitor the situation in Ukraine to ensure that the regulatory framework reflects any developments. It also continues to condemn the continued use of force by Russia in Ukraine, and calls for a speedy cessation of hostilities and a return to peace.”

The statement added that clubs will be allowed to register a maximum of two professional players according to this amendment.

Earlier this month, FIFA said it would open a special transfer period for foreign players stranded in Russia. The Fifa has criticized the move as a temporary measure, calling it “shy”.
